Matteo Mosca, shared a pretty interesting link to a dope product on #crazy-ideas: A CRM that automatically sells your side projects. Check it out here. Matteo was toying with this idea with this pain point: “80% of the time I design or make stuff, 20% of my time I do marketing and sales. And it should be the opposite.” - If it makes sense to you, head over to the channel and share your thoughts on this.
Arun shared this thread on #general- which is a very interesting take on bundling and unbundling of business ideas and markets. It’s honestly a very good compilation of plenty of links- which covers the length and breadth and can be good to glance over- if you’re someone who’s just starting out or maybe an entrepreneur thinking of launching a new product.
Praful Tickoo asked for some resources around “Differential Privacy” on #general and here are some interesting resources to check out, if you’re curious about the same:
and this blog post.
Lalit Pandey, in #general, was curious about why India hasn’t fully moved to employing digital billboards yet. Why do you think this hasn’t happened yet? Here’s what some of our members feel:
The biggest reason could be the starting and running expense of such a feat- digital billboards aren’t the most operationally economical.
Possibility of theft, lack of technical expertise and red-taping that could act as potential blockers of mainstream digital billboard adoption.

Solving the disconnect problem of social media
Social media today is just highlights and comments. It’s vanity statuses that we can add filters and make our lives more livable (pseudo-reality). It’s all false happiness that’s missing the whole point of online social communities- the feeling of being present even when you’re not. Those mini-interactions that occur unexpectedly, or ‘the dining table effect’.
Social apps aren’t secluded from the real world. But with family and loved ones, you need privacy. You need a world away from the real world. But that’s present on WhatsApp groups too right?- I mean, it’s serving the purpose for millions of families across the globe. Then why are we debating here?
In fact, on #general, Harsh Vaidya also had an interesting line of thought:
Does anonymity help us in having much richer conversations because the ego thing doesn't interfere as much? Is that the reason why every social channel which incentivizes personal brand building will eventually be reduced down to Facebook. (LinkedIn is suffering the same disease, question is, will twitter suffer too?)
